Your Go-To Resource for Pet Health
Digital Radiography
We use digital x-ray to confirm pregnancy, assess injuries, and examine patients’ bones, and organs. Our equipment allows us to get a more clear picture of what’s happening inside a dog or cat’s body.
Digital radiology allows us to quickly diagnose problems so we can begin an appropriate course of treatment. Our veterinarians will interpret your pet’s radiographs immediately. We will email these to your regular veterinarian after your visit.
In House Laboratory
We understand that time is of the essence and your pet can’t wait to feel better. Our in house laboratory gives us the capability to perform a wide variety of diagnostic tests.

Surgery
At Urgent Vets For Pets, our state-of-the-art surgical suite has everything our veterinarians need to perform a wide variety of soft-tissue and some orthopedic procedures. Our patients’ safety and comfort are always our primary concerns. All surgical patients are thoroughly examined to ensure they are healthy enough to undergo anesthesia. Our team provides constant monitoring for patients during their procedures, and will be by your pet’s side while they are in recovery. We understand that sending your pet in for surgery is frightening and will do everything possible to put your mind at ease.
Ultrasound
We rely on ultrasound when we need to examine a pet's reproductive organs, spleen, liver, lymph nodes, heart, intestinal tract, kidneys, or pancreas.
Our veterinarians use ultrasounds to diagnose things like masses, cysts, nodules, and abscesses. Ultrasound examinations do not take long, are completely pain-free, and do not expose your pet to radiation. By providing this service in-house, we can obtain a great deal of information about your pet’s health, diagnose various issues, and get your beloved pet back on the road to recovery as quickly as possible. To find out more, give us a call now.
Day Hospitalization
At Urgent Vets For Pets we can hospitalize your pet if it needs IV fluids, needs to be on oxygen, monitored for seizures, needs a blood transfusion, ate something it shouldn't have, or is just not feeling well. Our treatment room is specifically set up to be able to closely monitor our hospitalized patients. We can also continue hospitalized care of patients transferred from our local ER when they close in the morning. If your pet needs continued hospitalization we will have you transfer him or her to the ER clinic for overnight care.
Euthanasia
It’s never easy to say goodbye to a beloved pet.
Sometimes we need to make the choice to help our pets pass peacefully. At Urgent Vets For Pets, our compassionate veterinarians and staff are here to help you through this difficult time.
If you are trying to determine whether the time has come for your pet, here are a few things to consider:
Are they in chronic pain?
Are they unable to eat or drink normally?
Are they unable to go to the bathroom on their own?
Do they have more “bad” days than “good” ones?

What We Don't Do
In order to keep our costs low for you we do not hospitalize pets after business hours. Patients that need to be hospitalized overnight may be referred to our local overnight emergency clinic or a 24 hour referral practice.
We do not offer preventative medicine services such as vaccines, routine spays or neuters or regular dentistry. We encourage owners to see their primary care veterinarian for these services.
